Terminology

These are the terms and definitions that may be used in describing and discussing Webboard Mechanics.
Listed in alphabetical order:
Absolute Anti-Stupidity:
The point at which a non-stupid topic cannot become any more non-stupid, as in OctoberFost's Second Law.
Absolute Points:
Collective name for Absolute Stupidity and Absolute Anti-Stupidity.
Absolute Stupidity:
The point at which a stupid topic cannot become any more stupid, as described in OctoberFost's First Corollary to Sierra's Law.
Begemotic Change:
A metamorphosis within a topic as described in Begemotike's First Law.
Begemotic Daughter Topic:
The subset of a topic that is metamorphosed following a Begemotic Change.
Begemotic Forces:
The forces which lead to Begemotic Changes.
Oktyabre Cycle:
The alternation between absolute stupidity and absolute anti-stupidity in a topic that continues to undergo Begemotic changes in the opposite direction upon the reaching on an Absolute Point. An unlikely occurrence, but theoretically possible under OctoberFost's Second Law and Begemotike's First Law.
Oktyabre Difference:
The difference between the points of Absolute Stupidity and Absolute Anti-Stupidity within a certain topic.
xtallian Change:
An instance described in xtal's Corollary to xtal's Zeroth Law where a topic spontaneously undergoes a Begemotic Change.
xtallian Inversion:
An instance described in xtal's Zeroth Law where a topic spontaneously inverts from asininity to intelligence, or vice versa.
xtallian Reverse:
An instance described in xtal's Second Corollary to xtal's Zeroth Law where a topic merely reverses a trend toward an absolute point.
xtallian Topic:
A "neutral" topic as described in xtal's First Law that is neither stupid nor non-stupid.
xtallian Trigger:
A post that triggers xtal's Zeroth Law or some corollary thereof.
